"When the talented Atlanta-based tattoo artist, Madison Crawley, opened her own studio, she needed a bold visual identity to capture the essence of her new venture. I was thrilled at the opportunity to help bring her vision of incorporating elements of antique mystery with the inviting luxury of art nouveau to life.
In addition to the vibrant primary logo, a set of supporting brand marks ensure the brand's versatility across a wide variety of applications. A particular challenge was ensuring that details of the illustration (for example the peacocks' face and tail feathers) were not lost in translation to one-colour and reverse renditions, calling for subtle but important modifications to each version of the logo."
